“We are like clay jars in which this treasure is stored. The real power comes from God and not from us.”

In no particular order...

www.kids-in-mind.com This is the very best site to check and see if a movie meets your own parental standards. The ratings are divided into three main categories: sex/nudity, violence/gore, profanity. They further break down the ratings with details of everything in the movie that may be considered offensive so that you can decide for yourself if it will be allowable for your family. I highly recommend this site!

www.biblegateway.com This is a great site for finding passages for which you can’t remember the reference. It contains 20 English translations of the Bible, plus many other languages. You can search by reference, key word or topic.

www.faithwriters.com This site is for anyone interested in exploring their writing skills. There’s a weekly contest called The Writing Challenge, which is a great way to get helpful feedback and even get published! There’s also a discussion forum where you can connect with writers from around the world. This is a great site for honing your writing skills and getting advice from people in the business.

www.hopeforaids.org HOPE for AIDS is a grassroots response to the global AIDS pandemic. This site shows the work that SIM is doing around the world to fight HIV/AIDS. You can find information on specific countries affected by AIDS, you can learn about the projects that are in place to make a difference in those countries, and you can donate so that you can be a part of that difference.

www.kraftcanada.com This is my favourite food website. Great recipes, great meal planning advice, and great search options.

www.binghamacademy.net Bingham Academy is the school our kids attended while we lived in Ethiopia. It’s an international, Christian school with an amazingly high educational standard. I’m including this link for two reasons: for interest’s sake, if you’d like to see what school was like for our kids (see if you can find Abigail and Miranda in the video), and for recruiting purposes. If you’re a teacher (elementary or secondary) and you have any interest in teaching overseas for a year or more, please look through the website and consider joining this incredible team.
